- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Canceled policies today after 14 years. Allstate is by far the worst insurer to pay out on damage in the country, and this agency merely sends inspectors out to write $150 checks for $3000 in damages then jacks up your rate for filing a claim. My roof leaked in 6 places during the storms and somehow there is not a single nailhead missing and the blown off ridge vents miraculously went away. The last inspector was my former agent who sold to Shannon...can't imagine that is legit. I'll never insure through them again. And I saved $800 annually by switching.
